Planning output

Ready for an example run. Check the inputs, then run the tool.

Byte budget for complete configuration images

  1. Confirm the values and units.
  2. Run the check to generate your output.
  3. Review limitations before exporting or sharing.

How this works

Bytes = ceil(ceil(bitstream bits / 8) × image count × (1 + additional reserve / 100)). MiB = bytes / 1,048,576.

Inputs and limits

Bitstream 1–1,000,000,000,000 bits; 1–100 images; additional reserve 0–100%. Flash sector alignment must be reviewed separately.

Verification example

8,000,000 bits × 2 images plus 25% → 2,500,000 bytes.

Use the example inputs to inspect how the method behaves. This is a reference calculation, not a hardware test.
