Planning output

Ready for an example run. Check the inputs, then run the tool.

Usable target, utilization and resource shortfall

  1. Confirm the values and units.
  2. Run the check to generate your output.
  3. Review limitations before exporting or sharing.

03 / METHOD & VERIFICATION

How this works

Usable target = floor(available × (1 − reserve / 100)). Shortfall = max(0, required − usable).

Inputs and limits

Whole quantities: 0–1,000,000,000; available at least 1; reserve: 0–90%. Quantities must use the same definition.

Verification example

10,000 available, 8,500 required, 20% reserve → 8,000 target and 500 shortfall.

Use the example inputs to inspect how the method behaves. This is a reference calculation, not a hardware test.
