A PRACTICAL DIRECTORY

From a brand name
to a buildable requirement.

Use the portfolio to identify a device family, then confirm the complete ordering number before sourcing or comparison.

What does this directory cover?

150 public brand profiles across 13 product categories, with official portfolio or identified public references. It is a broad working directory, not a certified register of every chip company worldwide. Product families are examples; full MPN coverage is tracked separately.

Are all these devices already catalogued or in stock?

The site currently publishes 587 reviewed FPGA MPNs. Other profiles provide a starting point for manufacturer research and sourcing. A listing does not imply stock, an authorized distribution relationship or full product coverage.

Why do some old brand names lead to another company?

Searchable aliases consolidate names such as Xilinx into AMD, Actel and Microsemi into Microchip, and Maxim and Linear Technology into Analog Devices. Distinct product brands may retain their own profile.

Can devices from different brands be substituted?

A shared category only identifies a related product area. Compare exact MPNs, architecture, package, pinout, power, software and qualification before considering a substitute.
